For starters, this is one of the most important moments of your life. Some women feel that they will not look like themselves. Or they may have had a bad experience in the past with the wrong look. I get it, if that has happened it can be traumatizing... but don't let this take away from committing to it on your special day.
My first tip is it to communicate well with your artist and give them some visual images of what you have found. Meet with them in person or via zoom and make sure you feel a connection! You also want to have the confidence that they understand your vibe and what you want.
My second tip is to do a pre-trial look! This is great to do on your engagement session day. You can get a better feel for the look and also see how it photographs. If you have never worn makeup before a natural soft look will just enhance your beauty and showcase your features!
Lastly, trust me when I say that my camera doesn't lie. My lights and very expensive lenses are pin sharp and will show every little imperfection... which is why the correct foundation color and application is very important.
